Yes, you can reuse fiberglass mops by simply scraping the excess asphalt off of the mop with a shovel or 2x4 at the end of the day. Spin it the back of felt paper or hang it. The next day just put the mop in the mop cart and dispense the hot asphalt directly over it to that it out. We have styles of mops that will las tthe etnire week and more economic styles that last 2 to 3 days.
No, they are not. Cotton mops can self-combust but the hear resistance propertise of fiberglass mops makes thems safer on the job site. The can withstand heat up to 145 degress. We also have testing from the NRCA confirming that fiberglass mops do not self-combust but cotton mops will and are extremely dangerous.
